We were never meant to do this alone.
We were designed to be part of His tapestry, threads interwoven, colors blended.

We press towards this in hope. Knowing one day the Glory within us, within one another, will be made full and our jumbled weavings will be revealed for what we truly were designed for...

Our Safe Place is a ministry of The Forgotten Initiative, Birmingham. It is a monthly support group which exists to build community among the mamas of foster care within Birmingham, the state and throughout the Southeast as we journey together through our own threads of hope, grief, faithfulness that the Father is weaving through our callings to care for children and families in crisis and the foster care system, while maintaining confidentiality.
